Netflix is an app used by every age group from kids to adults. Everyone uses Netflix as their source of entertainment. It not only provides movies of all genres but TV serials and K-Drama too.
During the pandemic, Netflix had seen a huge boom in its industry and is rising each day. The next thing that they are thinking to come out with is the feature of ‘Kids Clip’ similar to like TikTok feed and it will be all specifically designed keeping in mind kids.
This app is moving forward as an entertainment app not only for adults but kids too. The app ‘Netflix’ has recently decided to introduce the ‘Kids Clip feature which will be catering to of entertainment of kids only.
The clips will be taken in from its library of children’s content. It is a huge step forward for them to look in that positive direction and work for the same.
Children spend time on Netflix and there already are movies, especially for children and also many cartoon serials but the ‘Short Clip’ idea is very innovative and interesting to keep the children connected to the app.
The idea of a short clip has been taken from other social apps used by children such as TikTok and also Instagram. These apps have short clips seen by their users on a huge amount on daily bases.
The idea is put forward to make children-friendly content.
The children should be able to browse through the content which is meant for them and the content shouldn’t be shortened and so such a forward step has been taken by Netflix.
Mostly the clips on other apps are presented in a portrait manner but Netflix will present its short clips in a landscape manner as that would stand out from other apps. Kids Clip is going to be a somewhat similar feature to what Netflix launched earlier this year which was “Fast Laughs”.
Those have also shown quite a good amount of audience and so this new feature is expected to gain some similar kind of audience too but in the form of kids. Both the features play a kind of similar role which is to boost the growth of Netflix through short video clips which are available on other social media apps.
Netflix has also stated that its biggest competitor is TikTok
The platforms also claim to claims to steal the audience from other social media apps to approve best among others through these short clips. Netflix is reportedly planning to release some of its own Mobile Games apps on the Apple Store as well.
Moreover, as social media apps are always criticized for consuming a huge number of hours of their users, Kids Clips would limit the number of clips that users watch in just a single sitting to 10 to 20 clips.
With this new feature, Netflix can earn many more Emmy awards though they already have won 34 awards during Emmys in 2021 and the number will be still rising continuously.
